Tulsi Trading began its humble beginnings in the early 1970's.
Geoff Fletcher was a young man from NSW's travelling around India amidst a lot of hippies and one fateful day met
Jay - the Eumundi Medicine Man who had started selling a range of Spiritual Sky perfumed oils, still sold today in the same iconic little square sided bottles that buyers have know for more than 40 years.
They became friends, still are today and Geoff would go on in the following years to purchase the rights to the perfumed oils.
Geoff began selling incense from the boot of his car in the 80's and soon had several dozen customers.
Tulsi is a type of basil that grows in India and is known as the sacred herb.
In 1991 from a small garage in Wollstonecraft, Sydney he started a fledgling company - Tulsi Trading Incense Pty Ltd.
They had a 1 page order form and the business evolved until they had run out of storage space.
In 2000 with a growing business Geoff (Mandapa) and Heather (Priya) decide on a sea change move to the Sunshine Coast
and over a few shed changes that they out grew each time, settled at our current large warehouse in Yandina.
In 2016 at 65 years young Geoff makes the hard decision to sell what he had given a lot of his lifes work to.
My wife Jilly and I are amongst the hopefull purchasers and luckily chosen by him to take over the reins at Tulsi.
In December 2016 we had a big learning curve (as I didn't know the difference between good incense and cow manure!) but Geoff has hand guided us the entire way.
Months of in house training, a sales run trip to Northern Rivers NSW and a BIG trip to Delhi, India to get us in the groove.
As the handover owner we can not fault the effort he has put in to mentor us both in all aspects of Tulsi.
And so it is - the 1 page order form is now up to 12 and growing and we have over 1,000 customers Australia wide, many of whom have been with us for decades.
The same old fashioned values Geoff founded the business on remain - good quality products and prices, very efficient turn around time from order to dispatch and friendly staff willing to help with any enquiry. Nothing is a problem and any rare ordering mistakes or breakages are rectified immediately.
We strive to continue to grow the business whilst doing Geoff proud and at the end of the day my wife is really happy when I come home smelling of sweet aromas on my clothes knowing that I have not been with another woman - lol!

We are one of Australia's largest incense importers. Our warehouse is located on the beautiful Sunshine Coast hinterland in Queensland, Australia.
We carry a large range of incenses, essential and perfumed oils and other aromatic products for wholesale. We are the only importer and wholesale supplier of genuine Spiritual Sky® incense (made in India) and perfumed oil range made in Australia. Spiritual Sky® perfumed oils have been exclusively manufactured and bottled by hand with love and devotion since 1973.

Tulsi Trading Incense Pty Ltd is an incense wholesaler, therefore we do not supply our products directly to the general public.
- Prices listed are GST exclusive.
- Minimum order is $220 (gst incl)
- Free fright on orders over $550 (gst incl) to most metro areas pending location.
Prices are subject to change without notice.
We offer full credit (freight excepted) on goods returned in saleable condition, within 7 days of delivery if you are not satisfied for any reason.
